Brooklyn: Williamsburg Bridge, Bedford Avenue and Prospect Park

Moderate walking, some hills, about five to six hours. We will take a few block look at the changing face of the “Lower East Side” before going over the century+ old Williamsburg Bridge, in Williamsburg we will visit the George Washington statue and pass Peter Lugar’s Restaurant on our way down Bedford Avenue to the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park.

Meet at 11:00AM at Delancey and Essex Sts. (northwest corner of Delancey Street) ---F train. Bring lunch, water, binoculars or a camera with an optical zoom lens. Heavy rain cancels. Call Friday evening until 9:00PM, if weather is a question.
